The origin of the Universe (if there even is one) remains a mystery - which isnt a surprise since we only operate from a small dot in it. Not believing in religion doesn not automatically mean I believe the universe is a certain way. I am not in a position to make any claim about that.

But your response certainly suggests that you seem to know there is something that isnt purely physical. Could you elaborate?

Also no neuroscientist ever came to that conclusion. We dont even know what "beyond the physical" even means because there is nothing of that sort we can refer to.
