They don't, they are a hateful cult that are completely enmeshed in their bubble of media and fellow cultists. They socially ostracize anyone not within the cult immediately. None of these people work - they work either cushy work-from-home jobs or live on welfare or money from family. And they are getting more and more hateful every single day - I live in Canada and am surrounded by these idiots. The cult is rooted in delusions of grandeur - they believe they are stopping Hitler, completely blind to the fact to the real world and real working people. They deny any form of self improvement especially with respect to health and exercise. They don't exercise at all, and merely take pills for pain - saying that any form of physical therapy is "quackery" or "anti-science" or some other slur. They don't talk about "climate change" anymore - I'm not even sure if they even are aware of the fact that they pushed that nonsense for over a decade, it's like they forgot it happened to begin with, much like the covid hysteria. They are getting increasingly violent - just look at the thread here or the constant attacks being reported. They actively and full-heartedly cheer on murder and violence on anyone who isn't in the cult. Any regular person.
Mark my words - forcible remedial education is the only option, I've been saying this for years, it just becomes more apparent with every passing day.
And you just look at them here and they spew venomous incoherent babble - it's constant. They have absolutely nothing, it's just incoherent hate.
My niece is currently busy writing her phd paper and it centers around the radical american right and where desinformation and the new social media landscape utilizing hate, outrage and - ofc - false facts (they call it post-truth xD) have shaped a new eco-system.
I recall her saying 3 P's are essential there: Populism, Polarization and Post-truth.
I'm sure many have attempted to make sense out of the phenomenon and many social studies have been conducted.
