I got to meet Neil Mendelson who works with Larry Ellison of Oracle(Now richer then Elon Musk) and he did a great segment on god and AI contrary to the "Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Segei Brin" who think about AI as God whereas Larry and the people at Oracle think it's our responsibility to use all data possible to make sure "bad outcomes" "bad ai" "negative risk" is avoided and our cultures aren't destroyed but instead strengthened.

I am very critical of billionaires and I learned a humble lesson in respect when Neil told me Larry doesn't care about his self image so unlike Bezos and these other Bozos he invested in his people at Oracle and then the result was excellence. That's all exellence is is just a hard habit conquered absorbed and then you are not attached to it and you can move on to the next thing. Starving people and villages without access to electricity, clean drinking water, etc.

The way you present the thread, it sounds like some Asian with inferiority complex showing some people from Asia with achievements to feel better about himself. Whatever is achieved by those people, it should be their honor, not of a nation or a race. It is the same way, some very ignorant white folks think they are something better just because they are white.
As for the culture development, the US and western Europe stole the recources from Asia and Americas for centuries. To develop arts, you need money and stability for the creative heads. All cultures have their creative heads, they can't afford to be that creative at the moment. The people you presented excel at western classical music because it pays well, right now. I'd be very much interested in the development of the eastern classical music in the future. They have got a 2000y long tradition but it is less known over here. Indians with their old raga and the old Chinese classical music are a real treat to the ears. I hope they'll remerge during my life time. The Indian version is already on the uprise. To give you an example:

Yehudi Menuhin (famous violin player/Israel) with Ravi Shankar (famous sitar player/India) and Bismillah Khan (famous drumer "tabla"/Pakistan) played together in a sense of western classical music meets eastern classical music.

Western dominance made rock 'n roll famous all over the world. I love heavy metal but I am aware most other cultures perceive rock and heavy metal as uncultered people with weird getups screaming all over the place

Ya I got to see Hindole Majumdar and Souryadeep Bhattacharya play a few devotional songs to our guru and man it just makes all other music look like a total joke. It's so relaxing and comfortable to listen to that even the thought of rap/country/rock/pop/etc. like "Never should've existed". The modern music is meant to get a pull out of you in a bad way. This music much like Beetoven and other classical artist is meant for you to understand the subtle nature of Brahman(God/Existence/Consciousness).

I'll check out that video when I'm back home with good sound
