Don't know if it was mentioned already but the US should definitely do something about glyphosate (roundup) this should be topping the list IMO.

Glyphosate wrecks your microbiome with many problems / sickness as a result.

Aye, there are many chemicals that disrupt the Endocrine System.

Which leads to hormonal inbalance, feminine men, masculine women.
Not by choice.

Do you want to know a joke? Middle easterners, Mexicans etc. hate the USA with their guts but all drink unreal amounts of Coca Cola instead of water  The only countries where I saw people drink water only during, after the meal were Italians/Spaniards/Portuguese. Juice is regarded by them as sweets.
Enforcing food standards is a start. You have to start somewhere.

Italy and France noticeably have food that has less ingredients or similar ingredients in many dishes and often I hear the same reaction of it has less taste than the food we're used to in North America but it tastes of higher quality.

and that as one user already said is likely due to the amount North American's tastebuds or brain response has been impacted via these addicting ingredients / substances that are part of so much processed foods now.

This is honestly the best argument against eating too much processed food.

It's not about what we know is in it, it's about what we don't know what's in it and how it can impact our health. And even then we know that bad stuff is in it.

Microplastics from the packaging of the processed food/drink bottles and hormones in anti-baby pills which land in tap water make men feminine. It's a fact.

Yeah with the urbanization of everything and mass populations living in sub 800 squarefoot places that sounds entirely possible. Good suggestion mate.

There's alternatives for the mass majority?

No, urbanization happens once you have such a massive population, its the only sustainable model sadly, and if there was an exodus from one area you would just have an influx to another creating the same thing.

The wild part about this,
Black Americans had to deal with these poisons in their foods in the 1900s.
They shouted about miss treatment, low quality foods in their grocery stores.
People didn't listen then, But now it's affect everyone's life and it matters.
