Here's some breaking news for Trump tards:

Our economic ties with China are good. They are good economically for both countries. They are good because they make a war between our countries unlikely. Some low skill jobs in America being lost is well worth it.

When great powers completely sever relationships(economic and otherwise), bad times are coming. You want to prevent a war with China? Be a free trader. Oppose Trump tariffs.

But seriously, China wouldn't be anywhere it is now without the USA pumping currency into it.
When usa and canada started sending industry over seas. it was directly helping those countries.
China was a known enemy even at that time. But now with the tech race we're in, it's becoming serious.
The AI Tech Race is USA vs China. This is why China wants Taiwan and why USA needs to defend Taiwan, while also moving chip manufacturing state side.

The USA and China have a serious economic relationship. We should seek to strengthen that, because even though the CCP wants Taiwan, what it should want more is our economic relationship. So the idea that we harm or sever our economic relationship makes zero strategic sense.
