Now that's just bits and pieces. The gunman could have been in the crowd and killed by return fire, but more likely that's some innocent bystander who took a bullet meant for Trump and the gunman was in front of Trump not behind.
From his witness description it sounds like the person he saw get shot was definitely not a gunman, so there's a good chance its 1 dead victim, 1 gunman dead, trump minor injury, unknown if any other injuries/deaths
for sure the gunman swallowed a cyanide pill as they approached. it wasn’t risking being taken prisoner alive.
