Marijuana, alcohol, coffee are drugs that effect your glutamate negatively.
I think it’s obvious why they should be avoided. Glutamate; important to memory, cognition, and mood regulation.
Caffeine is the most widely consumed psychoactive drug on the planet.
Sugar is another drug that is openly consumed globally.
Alcohol is both a physical and mentally addictive drug.
Wish more people would talk about this stuff.
Marijuana in my opinion falls short of alcohol but is potentially worse than caffeine and sugar.
Someone can operate heavy machinery while high on caffeine and sugar.
If they ingested a large amount of specific cannabinoid, they'd probably go to sleep.
Alcohol, they couldn't even do their job.
e- nicotine is another drug and studies have shown it's worse than thc or cbd.
Nicotine can be used as an insecticide and that was part of why it was promoted in the tobacco plant's breeding..
Now if we're talking about memory, safe consumption of any substance is critical.
Smoking cannabis out of tinfoil is going to put holes in your brain and cause Alzheimer's disease.
Particuarlly in humans under the age of 21 to 26. The brain is still developing for the average person and under those ages cannabis can affect development.
A lot of drugs / products can affect human brain development as a youth actually. Brake Cleaner shouldn't be used by people who's brains are still developing for example.
e2- sadly we don't live in a world that prizes it's children. Forcing them or putting them into situations with chemicals and molecules that are directly bad for them.
If I started pointing my finger at parents they would get very angry, but they'll continue to have products that hinder their child's development.
In this case, Marijuana is the least of our worries.
