As stated in the OP, abortion is a Hegelian Dialectic Topic designed to create conflict.
But the modern take on the subject is that it somehow "protects women's bodies"
I'm asking how it does this.
Compared to a birth or a C section an abortion is less risky, and therefore protects womens bodies.
It also allows them to make the choice about what happens to their body, and therefore protects their own interest in their body and lets them decide the acceptable risk levels for various outcomes.
Not that hard to understand if you are willing to consider what's happening
