So one good thing for Trumps defence potentially and Trump is sticking to this script is that Banks dont really care about the financial statements and would give him the loan anyway regardless of their validity

Now if the defence team brings in a bank rep that can attest to that, a Bank manager that says "the financial statments mean nothing and we would give the loan anyway" then that would definitely help 45ths case for counts 2-6
but the question is.. Is there a Bank VP that is going to go on the stand and say 'financial statements don't matter' because the implications of that are absolutely huge beyond simply this Civil fraud case.
Very interesting stuff I wonder who will come to the stand for the defence once they start
