Lol there have been over 40 mass shooting incidents in America in October alone

Greatest country in the world though

yes if you count events where zero people were killed and 'mass shootings' where only one person was shot and 3 people were injured by a car

very honest and reliable methodology that definitely represents what people think when you say 'mass shooting'

Laws don't stop ANYTHING or ANYONE they are put in place for regular citizens to abide by and criminals always circumnavigate through that.

I live in the suburbs outside Chicago and when I go to the city for ANY reason whatsoever I'm strapped.

Why would I risk being robbed at gunpoint, threatened, and killed by a bunch of goons/gangbangers/degenerates?

It's common sense to carry where I'm from and guess what?! Chicago basically bans guns and spouts anti-gun rhetoric while gangs run the streets with high powered weapons and cops can't respond with a shitty little pistol(so they don't even respond to a gun battle between gangs because they'd DIE)

Every day on the news I see some black gang member in a hoody robbing people at gunpoint and I don't feel bad I say to myself, "Wouldn't of happened if he/she was carrying".

You missed the entire point. Lol. Other countries have gin bans. Why do laws work there and not here. Was my point and no I’m not asking for gun ban

Yes, that is the point. You have literally never put politics aside on this forum and gone any more insightful besides “republicans are stupid”.

I am glad to be the one to jump your dancing on dead bodies usual talking points and force you to say something true.

Says the guy who cannot put his politics aside in the whole thread good looking out

yea explain why its an American only issue. I'm not blaming guns.. I'm blaming the mental state of the country and our lack of compassion enough to help people.

We are at the front of the curve. Every nation follows us. Imo.

In England, they were arresting people for carrying the English flag. It has been deemed to be racist at a time like this. Is that even possible? But it sounds like what was happening during the BLM riots (or "proetests" for those in denial) where the American flag was a hate symbol to some during that time.

Common sense is not common anymore...

This isn't a problem that can be solved with executive orders or a piece of legislation

The cause of this is the breakdown of the family

You can pass legislation to remedy this but it's a cultural issue that would take alot of time to fix after the implementation of draconian laws that would be unpopular such as banning divorce, mandatory vocational and remedial labour camps for people who are work-shy, etc.

being from Maine I am truly disappointed nobody took this scum bag out. I carry, at work, grocery store, wherever we go. A HUGE percentage of people in Maine carry so it astounds me that nobody was around to make this guy take a dirt nap. Then again Lewiston is a very blue town, so should I be surprised? The STATE of Maine / Feds are to blame for this incident. The guy threatened to shoot up a recruiting office and was institutionalized recently. As soon as someone is committed or is investigated for violent threats, federal agents / police officers should be sent immediately to that person's home to search if they own guns. Now I know that's not always the case, but had they done that, then this wouldn't have happened.
