Didn't see it but did seen a few snips here and there. Seems like Vivek looked decent.
I like him and think he has some good ideas and is quick on his feet and obviously a very smart guy. One drawback that's a real turn off is how rehearsed he sounds and just some one liners whether its guns or constitution or whatever just have my eyes rolling because they feel so unauthentic.
I listened to him being interviewed for a longer sit down on the All In podcast and generally had a positive view. Would probably support him over any other single candidate in the field today simply because of his anti-war stance.
I also think having a very young president would be refreshing. We need someone that's vibrant and can hold a conversation to be the face of this country not some fossil who's obviously just the face of some handlers.
I don't think this is true simply because so many on the dem side showed up last time not because of how great Biden is but because they hated Trump. Vivek may have most overlaps with Trump but he has none of the baggage. No lawsuits, not a sleaze, in contrast very well polished.
I guess there are a lot of Trump fanatics that would only show up for Trump though. Vivek being brown would probably result in at least some republicans who have some racist tendencies to reject him. I think if he actually made it out of the primaries to general he'd do well, but that's just my thoughts.
Also Trump returning to Twitter in pretty based fashion
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1694886846050771321it will be interesting. a trump successor has a fine line to walk, you need to invoke the same feelings trump did and sounds enough like him that the base flocks over, but you also need to not sounds like a cheap knockoff or it wont read as sincere, which is Trump's main draw as a populist candidate. Vivek did well, we will see if he can keep it up, or if it even matters.
