In Regards to the video that I just shared and why I would have mentioned Scandinavian countries as "socialistic", perhaps I was taking a cue from what the narrator is saying around the 42.50 min mark.
It is a 10 mins commentary that might have formed some of my opinions.

His commentary on so-called democratic socialism is on point - in my view this describes the current moderate left excellently. I personally think democratic socialism is a terrible way to describe the idea, even though it is influenced from old socialist ideology. In this sense as well, the current moderate right is also influenced by old fascist ideologies, but we don't call it democratic fascism.

His video on CRT is also excellent - he is very good at articulating these points very well
