I have to imagine that somewhere in the USA could be an unbiased jury, probably all over the age of 50 and located in a purple state, who wouldn't be so tainted by bias they were unwilling to go with either side.
A lot harder to have hung juries in civil trials, it only takes 10/12 agreeing on a compromise where you can pick any arbitrary value
