I don't know if he's self aware enough to see that he's just taking things he finds personally offensive and essentializing them to being weak or bad in some way.

well I'll give you a lil piece of advice, if you really want to spread the good news then I'd try being a little more understanding and a lot less hostile
posting emojis doesn't make someone weak, using certain words doesn't make someone weak either
being rude to someone you are trying to convince isnt a good move for your cause

You know I do struggle with my own sin of being too hostile sometimes, but I'm doing my best as a human afflicted by the curse of original sin

Mocking people does indeed make you weak, and yes, using certain words in context does also make you weak.
