And yet there are still a ton of liberals who consider CNN 's reporting to be of a fundamentally higher quality and lower bias than that of Fox News.

That's what years of brainwashing does to people unfortunately.

That's because it is. The chyron is probably technically correct, although you can certainly question this sort of framing vs. right-wing protests or riots. Fox News is simply propaganda, a different situation from CNN's bias.

No, the chyron is not technically correct. We're long past the point where "mostly peaceful" is a fitting description of these protests. And them using the word "fiery", of all adjectives, to describe these events is the cherry on top. Babylon bee couldnt have done a better job mocking CNN than what they did to themselves here.

At the end of the day, CNN's liberal and pro-Democrat bias is so pervasive in their reporting that the entire channel has to be considered propaganda. They're just slightly more subtle about it than Fox News. Emphasis on 'slightly'.

I gotta say... "fiery but mostly peaceful protest" is a really nice way of paraphrasing "half the fucking city is burning down as we speak" ^_^

It's true though. There are people who go through every single report that comes from every news organization and documents this. Obviously what CNN did is fucking stupid and we shouldn't defend that. But to make a false equivalency claim between CNN and Fox is flat out wrong.

Like I said, CNN is just a bit more subtle about their bias than Fox News, who are completely unashamed in their hackery. CNN's bias is still so pervasive that the entire outlet has to be considered a propaganda machine. The outcome is the same, even if their process might perhaps be less shady than Fox's.

Everyone is biased. The issue is if you let your bias get in the way of reporting on the truth. Perhaps we should drop the term "bias" and focus on "accuracy." CNN's description isn't accurate IMO because while the vast majority of people ARE likely peaceful, that same principle can be applied to any situation. If you have 90 protestors and 10 people are raping and murdering, you still have "mostly peaceful protestors." But that doesn't give you the full context of the situation which is "there is an active riot."

I can't sit through a segment of Don and Chris.

As far as fox goes, not sure iv ever seen a single episode. Cnn I think is more popular in Canada than fox. Iv just never seen fox on TV except fox sports for football
