Within hours of rittenhouse’s acquittal a black drug dealer was acquitted of murder with a self defense claim. Unfortunately for him he actually WAS in violation of gun laws.

Literally within hours of each other.

They can do so when it becomes clear under the evidence provided in the trail that the law being applied is not applicable, as in the case here.
