As I've said many times, I have no clanship with the Democrats or Biden. Biden is milk-toast. He didn't fight at all to keep $15 minimum wage in the last bill. He basically rolled over at the first opposition. He's openly said he doesn't want to remove the filibuster but wants to reform it.

You're reading far-right articles and asking why I won't come half way for you. It's because I'm not interested in meeting half way with delusion. Biden has not ever shown himself to be some far-left idealogue, or to be interested in radical change of any sort. His proposed tax increases just take them back to what they were under Obama, he doesn't want a national healthcare system, he doesn't even want to cut military spending.

My advice is to stop reading right wing crap. It might help you to stop reinforcing your bias and see things how they actually are.

Manchin said a couple weeks ago that he wants the fillibuster to be "painful" for the minority. The filibuster, as we know it, will be dead by the end of the year. I think forcing the minority to ACTUALLY hold the floor is a step in the right direction because it creates more accountability.

If we can stomach losing thousands of lives in the Iraq war, I am confident guaranteeing that the Chinese are willing to risk tens of thousands of lives to unify the homeland. I spent some time rooming with a Chinese student in university. He was very liberal, except that he took as a matter of fact that we understood that Taiwan is China and China is Taiwan.
