I did not postulate a dichotomy between golfing and photo ops, you did. The former is what he does with his free time, the latter is what he does while he is "working".

Do you even realize how much you're contradicting yourself here? You accuse Trump of neglecting his duties as president during this time of crisis, that he should work more and relax/golf less. At the same time, you also accuse him of not having spent his time making photo ops in front of graves, which will not bring anyone back to life, not comfort anyone and would just be dismissed as a "phony display" by the liberal media anyway.

Regarding his duties as a president that you were mentioning: Trump has just rolled out bold EOs which will continue the expired weekly unemployment checks, continue the protections of renters and home owners against evictions and cut some parts of the payroll tax. He's really exposing himself with this move (since it's on very shaky legal ground) to help the American people; a move made necessary because Congress couldnt get its shit together. He has taken on a personal risk (if those EOs get slapped in court, it will make him look incompetent and authoritarian) to put the pressure on Congress, get the gridlocked negotiations movign again, and outline the general policy direction the next coronavirus relief bill should be headed to. This was quite literally the most constructive thing he could do in the current situation. But hey, too much golfing, too little public displays of affected grief... orange man bad!

wait what? i told you TWICE now that he should NOT do phony photo ops, but his fucking job. you know a gravesite isn't the only location you can behave like a human being, right? starting to listen to the experts, taking concerns seriously even if they are raised by people politically opposed to you, and caring about the needs of average working class citizens are some of the examples i mentioned. the whole point of repeatedly insisting that golfing and photo ops are NOT the only two alternatives was to debunk your idiotic narrative that no matter what he does, he'd earn some undeserved criticism from the left, so he might as well waste his time golfing as much as he can (exposing the ugly truth that what this REALLY is about for the trump cult is how it reflects on him, not how he can maximise the well-being of americans!).

The meme we are talking about implies that he should do photo ops. I criticized this meme, you defended it. So when you say that he should not do these photo ops, you're contradicting the argument that your own side was making in the meme, the argument that started this whole discussion. It is a contradiction when you jump to the defense of this meme, yet oppose its central premise.
