Chevy Chase shit on his own career multiple times by being an alleged terrible person to be around and work with

he is bitter about most of the things he has worked on and most of those he has worked with

and that's coming from a huge Chase comedy fan

Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny in a long time. They sometimes stumble into a funny skit here and there, but it's overall very bad.

I wish it was still close to what it was.

comedy culture changes over time and snl style isn't really that entertaining anymore just like old style media isn't preferred anymore

and both are incredibly biased and political as well which does hurt content

Chappelle ruling the sketch world for 2 years fearlessly and hilariously made it difficult for anyone that stuck around after him

He was the best and the demands of sketch comedy sent him into a mental breakdown. The black white supremacist is still the best skit I've ever seen.

chase: once said "i've never seen someone's face turn white so fast" about a guy who was embarrassed by something they said about chase that didnt realize they'd run into them backstage

I thought Roseanne's was just a bad joke, but that she deserved to be fired. This Chase thing is just a phony headline.

i was not trying to suggest his comments about late night comedy are as disgusting as roseanne's comments were, i was just wondering if he's throwing his hat in the ring to be the next famous person to make a shitload of money by appealing to right wing snowflakes who won't watch, or at the very least won't admit finding anything amusing or entertaining that makes fun of their emperor. i mean, it's an objectively good opportunity for someone with his name recognition but trouble to land any high profile gigs...
