Why the hell not? Death is treated all the same especially in a crime scene. I personally I wont go out of my way to study this but its an interesting. I am pretty sure there are far less interesting or less important things which are recorded anyway.

I am curious especially when i have a pet of my own. I sometimes click on some random youtube or link to find out an interesting topic even though it might never be useful to me personally. Pretty sure everyone done this.

From a personal perspective, I wouldn't eat dog unless I had no other option. I mean, choice between dog and starvation? Not much of a choice.

From an American perspective, we have enough meat from other sources that I simply see no need for confirmed pet animals such as dogs, cats, horses, etc. to be eaten.

On a global perspective, I prefer that sovereign nations make their own laws and we stay out of their fucking business. So knowing that dog meat is legal in many nations, I will say, "Yes."

I think the real question in this is not whether people should have a "right" to eat dogs, but whether or not eating dog should be criminalized. And again, my vote there would be "No" for no other reason than unexpected and rare circumstance.

The dog deserves some measure of respect for the critical symbiotic role it has played in the course of human evolution, and should sit comfortably above other animals on the totem pole. Eating dog should be socially unacceptable.
