I'm actually kind of getting excited over everything that the trump surrogates have been saying recently. It looks like he's going to actually roll back all of his campaign promises and be a moderately liberal president.

Those come up every election. I did one of those jobs in 2008 it was nb as long as you can tolerate being treated badly by some people.

This was Obama v. McCain and I live in Southwest Ohio, so I couldn't count how many times I was called a race traitor or nigger lover for explaining to people why they should support Democrats.

This wasn't so much in Cincinnati as it was in the rural and suburban areas surrounding Dayton, which had especially been devastated by the outsourcing of their jobs by the 1%.

In fact one city we were in, Wilmington, had just had its city business, Airborne Express, sold to German company DHL (their jobs were going to Germany, where people weren't even being paid less for the work...) and the deal itself was brokered by John McCain's chief campaign strategist. One of the black canvassers had a gun stuck to his face in Wilmington. Me and a partner were assaulted in Fairborn, and not what you millennials consider assault where somebody is rude to you and you feel like your rights weren't thoroughly respected enough, I mean the punching and kicking that occurs outside of the safe spaces that you guys are used to. The police were even a huge problem, by insisting what we were doing was illegal and insisting that we stop, when it was legal and we didn't have to stop (and didn't even with them cruising around following us...).

Point is, those jobs aren't easy. And it is more realistically $10-$15 depending on skill set. A basic canvasser is only going to make about 10 bucks/hr and is going to have to do some grueling work.

Low information voters are a mofo to talk to about politics. For example, breaking the news to somebody that they have a terminal illness is many times easier and less frustrating.

I was kind of expecting it. Made the appeal to the dummies to get in office with all the dumb promises of deportation forces and walls lol.

Pres Obama, in his first presser since the election, is not even 10-15 mins in and hes ruthlessly criticizing Hillary! -> (C)linton for not campaigning more in the midwest and reaching out to the voters that voted for him twice.

Good for him, the man had to put his legacy and reputation on the line and endorse her as the smartest woman ever and the greatest candidate of all the times in order to drag her to the finish line and she was too much of a deadweight even for a sitting President with ~55%-60% approval rating

as long as his SCOTUS appointment is at least center-right i agree, if he goes for a hack who is literally just a bomb aimed at abortion not so much.

also if he was looking for a general pivot why keep stevie b around, let alone in such a powerful spot?

i think its going to be some weird hybrid of left and right thinking, or in other words moderate because he has equally left and right proposals.
