Still though, that person could be very cool and have a lot to offer, even if you don't find her romantically interesting. Some dudes are really into that. Maybe the honesty in advertising bit is poignant, but people always talk themselves up.

Her outfit is the real crime. Sweat pants are for older people than that.

Maybe if I were in zombie times and needed food.

My diet is based around personal prejudice. I don't eat animals I like or tend to be friends with. Fish is now included in this as now that I'm friends with a few, I don't want to eat others.

I don't like cows or chickens that much, and they're delicious. I do like goats and sheep, and tend not to eat those. Dogs and cats are off the menu, because I'm friends with them. I grew up loving the Muppets and the idea of eating a frog is horrifying to me. Pigs, not so much...they're kind of assholes.

...I remember the one and only time I had frog legs and much to my surprise they did not taste like chicken , they tasted exactly like deep fried pond scum ; so I am off frog forever .

I love a pair of big titties as much as the next guy, i have an issue with entertainers such as Mo'Nique telling me their health is fine and their weight is fine. O really Mo'Nique? You're healthy? You've been claiming you dont need to lose weight for nearly a decade? Why is it you went out and lost 50 lbs? Im sure the Jenny Craig endorsement money was her only motivation... /s

I think people can say and believe what they want

If she feels good. Body image is a strange thing. She could become consumed with weight loss, drop 100 lbs over a year, and never be satisfied with how she looks again. There is a huge psychological component to health, and what we conceptualize as healthy is a very socially constructed thing.

How is her blood pressure? Blood sugar? Renal and liver working? Thyroid functioning well enough? How old is Monique? Pushing 50...and she is out on her feet working hard, looking put together, making money, winning awards, after a career in show business while not fitting the standard model of beauty, but beautiful nonetheless.

Monique is pretty amazing now that I think about it. I never really care for her before you pointed this out  I bet she is a good woman.

Personally anytime someone gets on a pulpit the "you can say and think what you want" thing goes out the window for me. On a barely related note i think Charles Barkley is an idiot for suggesting he doesn't need to be a role model simply because he is someone kids look up to.

really though im pretty sure that pic u posted is mid or after weight loss transformation, she was talking about how healthy she was when she was this fat as well, idc if they did a heart transplant on her and put secretariat's ticker in her chest, her blood pressure was a shit show when she was that fat.

Wow she lost a lot of weight. Good for her. I hope people see her as a role model rather than a weight-traitor.

I love when people who are obese lose a ton of weight because it shuts down a lot of the "but muh genetuks" shit. (especially ones that have actual genetic issues yet still lose tons of weight)

You would be wrong. You might be surprised by this, but your personal experiences are not universally applicable.

can't load your image at work but i'm guessing it's an example of happily married fat people? i'm not saying that you can't lovem or that they can't make for good company but outside of chubby chasers i think it's safe to say what most people find to be attractive is reflected largely in our movies, television, and magazines

i don't recall the biology specifics but i'm aware from a male perspective it's all about child bearing hips or something?

-this goes the other way with extremely skinny people too though they're less ostracized by society

I've noticed multiple related topics like this from the op. You aren't fond of overweight people are you? 0.o

i never had a problem with them until i found out about the fat acceptance and health at every size movement

you'll be singing a different tune if you ever let them be on top - one time i thought she was gonna crush my leg, it was painful

...this is never a justification .

The truth is that anti-meaters as a rule place greater moral value on larger animals than smaller ones , cute ones over not so cute ones but to me it's a glaring contradiction to accept the slaughter of rabbits just because it's unintentional . And really now , how unintentional is it in actuality . The farmer , when he fires up the harvester , knows full well what is going to happen . The truth is that the slaughter of smaller mammals is more acceptable than the slaughter of cows and a large part of that is because it goes unseen .

This is just not true at all, the ethical vegan places value on minimizing animal suffering, as I've already said earlier in the thread which you must have missed, vegan diets produce overwhelmingly less suffering than meat-based diets. Vegan products in general produce far less suffering per calorie. I don't know why you are making these claims when you've clearly never even attempted to calculate the difference.

Honestly the media can glamourize it all they want, it doesn't make it appealing unless you have a weird fetish. Sex appeal is stronger than the media. That skinny model is getting plowed twice as much with her choice of guy.
