DUDE, i went to the dentist and this exact thing happened. my dentist over hear me and the assistant talking about the downsides of Covid and he came in hot with the "i dont know, i think it might be a hoax, dont be surprised if it disappears after the election". then the assistant says "my husbands grandma died of covid" and i said "do you think the world would shut down the economy just for the american democrats", and he started a FAST back pedal.

i dont know why they have to go full bore, why is it a hoax about elections? why not just stay grounded and say its overhyped and shaky ever-changing information is being conveyed as if it's 100% solid? nope, go full tinfoil mode then retreat.

Absolute, ultimate, humiliation.
