You're saying the blacks have a good perception, or they are being represented well?

I'm saying according to the polling he posted, and the numbers on how many actually receive the benefits that are being polled about, their perceptions most match with the distribution.

Here is some data to put against the biases:

SNAP, the biggest social welfare program, ran by the Department of Agriculture due to it being a huge subsidized check to America's agricultural system and farmers (the GOP attacks farmers when they go after SNAP, remember that rural Americans), turns out to help mostly white people, who have families including children or elderly family members, and are employed and otherwise working.

The top two sources of income are earned income and social security savings, not social welfare programs. SSI is disability, individuals who are impaired for whatever reason and can't work. About 1/5th of the people on welfare it appears have no income (much lower than perceptions usually), and Temporary Aide to Needy Families is such a low percent of the radar that it has never really mattered as far as budgets are concerned, and the average amount of time a family receives help through TANF has been a steady two years since the 1970s...Reagan "reformed" it to limit it to 5 years , his welfare reform, which anybody who knows anything about social welfare just rolled their eyes at, but it helped him perpetuate the myth of the welfare queen to manufacture the white outrage and put racism right into the GOP platform....which we see is still affecting their biases even today according to popular opinions.

Well, it looks like we should refocus our efforts to poor white communities.

Blacks perceived that they gave far a great deal when in fact reality is that they take a lot based on those numbers.

I was referring to the numbers of how many people are on snap etc. Society also takes a lot from them, see taxation through fines in Ferguson, liberty through the drug war, etc.
