It has nothing to do with other people being too stupid to Google the claims you make, it has everything to do with if you want to get your point across, it's your responsibility to do so, otherwise their isn't a reason for you to be here.

People choose to be in debt.

Poor people often times have no other choice. For many working-class kids who happen to have no particular mechanical/technical/handy skills, the choice is either take on debt to go to college, or flip burgers the rest of their life.
Similarly, going into debt to cover healthcare bills often times is a necessity, not a choice.

People do not need to take on debt for anything. People can be patient and work towards their goals of affording things.

It is a choice, that is a simple fact.

Debt is a scam and the world will tell you that you need it.

You should listen to Dave Ramsey teachings. Their are steps that can be taken to prevent any scenario that involves debt.

"A family member is diagnosed with cancer. The surgery is not covered by your plan, you'd have a 5-figure co-pay; or your family doesnt have healthcare insurance to begin with.
Since the surgery has to happen very soon or the cancer spreads and becomes incurable, slowly saving up is not a feasible option.
Thus, the only choices are taking on debt to pay the life-saving surgery, or see the loved one die."
