*Breonna Taylor has entered the chat*

From what I've read about that... the police had a no knock warrant, they were fired upon, it was night and probably dark.

Honestly, I'm getting sick and tired of these stories. The kicker here is... so are a lot of other folks. This whole slew of these cases is gonna hurt the black folks. It's gonna push civil rights way back.
I know that's not what people are attempting to do here, but that's what's gonna happen.

According to The Louisville Courier Journal, the police had been investigating two men who they believed were selling drugs out of a house that was far from Ms. Taylor’s home. But a judge had also signed a warrant allowing the police to search Ms. Taylor’s residence because the police said they believed that one of the two men had used her apartment to receive packages.

In this case... which is more likely? The police just wanted to kill a hosp. worker, OR they had evidence that her house was being used to receive illicit packages?

In the long run this will turn out bad for black folk. It's like they told Maverick in Top Gun (the movie)... "You're name ain't the best in the Navy. You gotta be doing it better, cleaner".

Blacks are out numbered in the US at least 3 to 1. Blacks have to be doing it better, cleaner. Some have realized this and are doing it, better, cleaner. Most aren't. This is why this social media flurry of stories is going to back fire.
I don't WANT to see that happen, but, that is what will happen.

The police lied on the police report for the incident, so I'm not prone to accept what they're saying as truth. The report said that Taylor had no injuries, despite 8 bullet wounds to the contrary, and said there was no forced entry, despite crime scene photos showing use of a battering ram on the door.

And your virtue signal of "the police just wanted to kill a hospital worker" is BS, because the idea that they specifically wanted to kill her has never been made, that I've ever seen. It's just one example showing that police don't just "leave you alone if you're not doing anything illegal". Hell, the stop and frisk program in New York City is evidence to the contrary.

Was she convicted in court? You seem to love that standard until you don't like the person.

The judge gave a no knock warrant based on the fact that illicit packages were going to HER house. Guess the post office just made a mistake, eh?

So she wasn't convicted of doing anything wrong.

Guess we'll never know if she was breaking the law.

No one said she was. My guess would be either the boyfriend or one or both of them was being paid to receive illicit packages.
Either the ;police notified the post office of the post office notified the police. There doesn't seem to be any doubt that her ADDRESS was receiving illicit packages.

So the judge gave the cops a no knock warrant. It was dark... the cops gain entry and are fired upon (by a guy whose eyes were already dark adapted), the cops returned fire. Girl was killed by accident.

Or for YOU assumptions to be true... the judge was in cahoots with the police and just decided to kill black female emergency room tech.

Most of the times you guys are blaming the cops when the perp didn't have a gun. In this instance, the guy DID have a gun (licensed?) and WAS shooting at the cops.

So she wasn't breaking the law, but the cops still bothered her?

I have no idea if she was breaking the law. If she knew about the illicit deliveries, then she was breaking the law. If she didn't, then she was just collateral damage.
