As far as lobster licences go, that one hits close to home, especially given all my cousins are fisherman and several have lobster licences. I'd like to think they wouldn't engage In such things but when you threaten bread on the table I fully expect they would.
If your view of Canada consists of the GTA it's probably a fairly narrow view.
The lobster fiasco would be less pathetic if it weren't for the fact that the number of lobster cage the tribe puts down is in the three digits meanwhile the commercial industry is in the 6 digits. I'm sure the tribe is going to remove all the lobster from the sea. As a matter of fact, I'm sure Indigenous tribes around the Atlantic were responsible for all the shortages way back when too
RCMP not even doing anything because literally all the officers probably are brothers of the 200~ish men who went to burn and threaten is truly the cherry on top.

Schrodinger's immigrants, simultaneously taking all the welfare and being generally lazy but also stealing your jobs. Economic anxiety arguments work every time with the less educated working class.
