I don't see either party adopting it into their platform on any necessarily established principle. Both parties take money from the pharma lobby. They're complicit across the board.

The GOP is going to make sweeping changes in the next decade, change and instability is good, so my money is on them to make it either legal nationwide or sympathetic enough that the change is possible. A populist shift is increasingly going to demand it. If libertarians didn't have aspergers it would a been legal already.

I like the change where the "outsider" republican candidate becomes exactly like every other establishment republican with a couple flippety floppities right out the gate

The outsider candidate doesn't really matter.

Its just proof that deep entrenchment CAN be overcome.

You can't be a pussy like Bernie but you can make a change.

Anybody can fuck the GOP now Trump did it. The GOP is running scared like a raped ape. They don't even know their constituency. Trump does.

That's attracting a lot of people with different views into their party to mold it to their agenda. I'm one such opportunist.

Republicanism is not conservative anymore.

So I'm thinking about voting for Trump for the same reason I would have voted for Rand. I know what we will get from Clinton and, while it's better than nothing, it's doesn't seem great. Some incremental change on the social front but uninterrupted regressions in finance and other important places that aren't as obviously going move forward as the social side of things.

Trump is going to make a big shift left in the general (likely) and I don't think he is as regressive as the Republican party, just pandering to get the nomination.

My biggest reservation to vote for Clinton is on the Supreme Court, but I really have no friggin idea who Trump would nominate.

I'd most like to hear from Spel and Skinned because I'm sure there's some obvious thing that will convince me to go Hillary that I'm just not thinking of.

maybe before the switch to full steam ahead for big money

the donors aren't necessarily true conservatives but they will keep Trump in line and we won't be seeing the same Trump we would have seen without them

On my phone.

Trump has a ruthless pragmatism no other candidate can have because he's a businessman. His books, while ghostwrit, betray a very mentally powerful man who always keeps his options open. Everything is up for negotiation. If anybody can convince the GOP to legalize weed its him. He has an animal cunning for reading his constituency. If people want weed he'll make it happen.

I believe he is sincere about making America great again because he's willing to crush career politicians and sully his reputation as an act of love and service to the country. He has a big beautiful family and none of them are fuckups.

When you have accomplished all you want in life your first instinct is to pay it back and give. I bet he's a great father.

If you don't care what other people think about you then you've unchained your ego and increased your consciousness. He's a clown genius. He comes off as a buffoon but its obvious he's smarter than all of his vitriolic small minded critics.

Hillary on the other hand is clearly a sociopath. She's a sycophant who has dirty dreams of power at any cost. Google Clinton body count and ask yourself why so many people near the Clinton's end up dead. Its dozens of people. Look at how disgusted she is talking to her voters. Everybody is beneath her.

I would vote for her IF the GOP was fronting a pussy candidate since she is a safe bet. She still has bigger balls than Jeb Bush. It would be like voting for GWB or any other neocon. Shed probably have Obama in her inner circle and he's not a moron.

However Trump has a glorious vision of the future and a well honed skillset to do it so there's no question.

Yeah, there's always the possibility he makes a big U-turn on finance and etc. once the money starts rolling in, in which case I'll abstain from the general.

That's a risk with Trump but a guarantee for Hillary.

On the Clinton body count... I have a few acquaintances from very wealthy families. According to them at least, if you're a billionaire you've had people killed. No exceptions.

Clinton is going to be a war-hawk, make some progress on the social front, but ultimately be an Obama-like president who doesn't get much change. My most important issue is regulation of the financial sector. Currently we do not have enough, but Clinton is on record saying "ZOMG WE PASSED AMAZING REFORM, THAT'S ALL WE NEED!" when what we have was written by bankers, for bankers.

I like Trump's ability to grab the attention of the masses. If Obama would have nutted up and actually used the bully pulpit we could have had real change since most of the issues he said were important are massively popular.
