To all the "experts" on PaRD.

The student strike following the Kent State shootings, involved over 4 million students, and IT was peaceful. What exactly do you think is gonna happen NOW in response to this rioting, burning, looting, etc., when the silent majority decides they've had enough?

So the riots after Kent State, that didn't work as evidenced by the fact that we still have a police brutality problem and the police are even more militarized than then, was peaceful.

Cool story.

"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."

MLK says you're part of the problem. Like I said, you're going to pay for it whether you like it or not. It appears that the tide has turned.

What was your position before this? Because I think he actually thought you were part of the problem. At least based on what I said sometime last week(?) about moderates finally coming around.

Ghot is racist enough that literally everybody acknowledges it.

I mean, the data doesn't support that. Look, no one is saying that it's as bad as Jim Crowe. It's that we need to be better. Most Americans are prejudiced towards black people, myself included. That doesn't make you a bad person because it's human instinct to infer patterns from small sample sizes. However, the aggregate prejudice creates institutional racism and it's something we just need to acknowledge. It's abundantly clear that many blacks come from broken homes. Is it not something we should fix? If we don't fix it, how do you think the country as a whole views black people?

The only way to fix it is to abolish welfare, divorce (no fault), and alimony. History proves this because blacks are worse off now than they were 20 years ago.

Liberals don't want to do it because they are corrupt pieces of shit.

The Kent State shootings and the following student strike was about Vietnam. They were peaceful and huge, and they didn't stop Nam.

The point here is the "people" in the US will react the same way... eventually. BUT, they will be far more pissed off because of all the burning and looting and destruction in this peepee protest.

It's only 50 years since the Kent State shootings and obviously THIS generation hasn't learned from history.

Look guys, this peaceful protest didn't work. Why won't you learn from history?

If only that there negro folk would just stand and be quiet. History sure has been kind to them when they don't make any noise!

Remember that time there was a peaceful protest and Ghot totally supported their right to protest?

That was the translation I also came to from his comment as well.

It's always fun to watch a racist apologist bend himself into a pretzel to justify his obviously racist narrative.

You'll all learn. Too bad it has to be the hard way.
