That's not fair b/c the NY Times doesn't have a network. You also need to add OANN to the left and it should balance out pretty well.

It's a pic from 2016, when there was no OANN yet.
The NY Times is only in there because it supports the broader point made by the meme:
that complaints about Fox News and its extreme pro-Republican bias miss the larger picture because almost all other big national media outlets, and thus the national media landscape overall, have a clear liberal/Democratic bias.

and The Blaze, and virtually all of talk radio, and why is "Clinton" on one side and "Fox News" on the other? Clinton isn't a news network.

This is just a dumb picture all around.

And there's also Sinclair Media Group that skews super hard to the right that controls a fucking massive number of local news networks.

Like I said: the large national media outlets, the "newspapers of record", skew liberal. Local stations and talk radio skew conservative, true that, but they neither have the same reputation nor the same influence on the public discourse.

WSJ and USA Today do not skew left but I agree that WaPo and NY Times editorials will skew left.

Also, local and talk radio have a HUGE influence on American life.

I disagree that local news has less of an influence on public discourse as a whole. On the individual level, sure. But taken together they're still most people's source of news.

And Sinclair media group has been buying them up by the bucket full and have been broadcasting their own produced segments and give verbiage to local anchors, and they hugely skew right.

Give up. You're just wrong on this hill. The media is corrupt and a tool of Soros/Carlos Slim/China.

Hmmm, I'm maybe not the most qualified person to judge this, but to me it always seemd as if talk radio was mostly a phenomenom of rural America and evangelical circles. How much influence does a guy like Rush really have in the cities and suburbs?

The only one in the last 7-8 posts that's NOT trying to deny reality... is a German guy.

Hell, there's even an American who's trying to sell the fiction that Sinclair Media leans right. LOL

There's still a shit load of people outside of cities and suburbs.

Radio is hard to quantify though, since we don't really have ways to tabulate listners like TV does.

If you have evidence of Sinclair's leanings as reflected by their local news influence then by all means, post it.
