When you post a list that has each comedians liberal/conservative leanings. We can talk.

Erm... I mean if the claim is that the majority of the most popular comedians are liberal then first you figure out who the most popular comedians are. Then you look at the list and see who is liberal.

So with list #1

Political leanings by rank. L = liberal, C = Conservative, O = other or unknown.
Here's the list again for reference - http://fanpagelist.com/category/comedians/view/list/sort/influence/
1L 2L 3L 4L 5L 6L 7L 8L 9L 10O 11L 12L 13O 14L 15O 16O 17L 18O 19O(Likely C) 20L

There's your list. Of the top 20 most popular comedians 14 are indisputably liberal and can be confirmed as such with a quick google search. 5 require further research but are likely liberal. Only David Spade is likely Conservative but has not publicly said so.

So being as generous as I can possibly be I'm still overwhelmingly correct.

Neither of these lists say anything about these people's popularity and so are irrelevant. The second list is just celebrities not comedians and is therefore doubly irrelevant. At no point have I claimed there are no conservative comedians or celebrities.

No, you claimed most were. And I responded, it's probably split pretty evenly, just like the country.

/e And there is no way, John Cleese is liberal. Can't sell that here.

That was 20 years old, and I don't know enough about English politics to be sure if an English lib/dem = an American lib/dem.

/e Like... are English lib/dems for or against letting their country get overrun by ILLEGAL immigrants, for example.

They are pro-immigration, pro gay rights, pro pretty much every progressive policy. Even some of the sillier ones. Apart from maybe the green party they are the most liberal party in the UK with seats in parliament. John Cleese has not switched from extremely liberal to conservative in 20 years. Only a couple of months ago he was on TV talking about how brexit was a stupid decision and he's leaving the country because of it.

E/ and in 2017 he openly declared his support for the lib dems and labour.

Coming to the US I hope. If he comes here and sees what OUR liberals are doing maybe he'll switch.

Brexit was a good idea, IMO. The UK was a lot better off when it was still England, IMO.

lol

Ghot:

"John Cleese isn't a liberal"

"Okay, John Cleese may have been a liberal 20 years ago, but English liberal =/= American liberal"

"Okay, John Cleese is an English liberal, but if he came to America, he would find our filthy American liberals disgusting and he would instantly switch to being a conservative"

bahahahhaha

As has been tradition for former presidents, Obama has largely tried to stay out of the political fray during Trump’s tumultuous first term as president, and his upcoming schedule will mark his most high-profile and aggressive effort yet to push back at the current occupant of the Oval Office.

Obama isn't doing a very good job of "staying out of the political fray". No surprise there, though.
