I think this thread shows how disconnected people are from the reality of what happened during COVID. I guess to many it was just a time spent at home, luckily I'm in that category, I don't have anyone close who died from it, but this disease killed over a million Americans. How so many people can just pretend those people don't matter... I will never understand. My guess is it's a result of internet-brain, those people are simply an abstraction for most.





Can someone explain to me the joke here? What's funny about how scientific expertise changed in the aftermath of a new vaccine treating a novel virus? I don't understand the joke.

hard to believe anyone is this far behind the learning curve. the response to covid was chit and a power grab. the mRNA covid 'vaccine was dangerous chit that didnt work. and totalitarian assholz trying to jam it up everyons azz. its dam funny after everything the liars did was a dismal failure and their new answer was 2 masks 2 masks now

The images posted had to do with the COVID vaccine. The COVID vaccine was very effective at preventing serious disease and death, that's why those numbers went down in all the countries that implemented it. The weirdo opposition to the vaccine resulted in tens of thousands of unneeded deaths from people who listen to morons like Trump, Joe Rogan, and many other know-nothings.

it is akin to paying 100$ per 80 watt lightbulb when 60 watt is the norm.

the US got bodied by the pharma lobbies into pushing what was at the end of the day a slight increase in preventing covid deaths.

to be fair there's hindsight justification on both sides, due to a lack of testing it wasnt clear in real time. it was sold as covid preventative, which turned out to be false. naysayers claimed it was killing more than covid, and that was false too. its really just a pricey insurance policy that anyone with an even semi normal BMI didnt need, paxlovid appears to be a far better thing in the long run.

People on this sub forum say I'm a Trumper and believe in "fake science" but yet I never voted for Trump(or any other POTUS) and I thought one of Trump's biggest blunders was his "Warpspeed vaccine". He allowed his ego and "I'll be the president who solves Covid" into allowing people like Dr. Fauci to carry out a mass experiment on the public(The idea that our government created a vaccine and properly tested it was the greatest illusion ever pulled on the American Public. The VAERS(vaccine adverse events reporting system) went off the charts after the first vaccines were administered. There's hundreds of videos/stories of people getting myocarditis. People passing out and seize'ing on the floor right after they take the Covid vaccine. They used fear tactics into convincing people into taking an "untested product". They rolled up their sleeve and took a shot without asking for a vaccine insert so they could know the potential risks(Some 30 pages long by the way). All the vaccine makers are VOL(void of litigation) which means as people are damaged by them over the years they cannot sue them and they'll be paying out of pocket to cover the cost.

All these people on here tell me "I don't support the science" but I actually do and when it is faulty it's your responsibility to question things and do the research yourself.

I never even got Covid in all that time and I never took the vaccine. My health didn't change AT ALL during "peak covid". I was playing ice hockey with a bunch of dudes who either didn't take it or did and we all shared a lockeroom. Some people came and played with Covid and none of us really cared.

Why? If you exercise daily. Drink plenty of water. Eat properly. Get 30 minutes of sunlight. Add in some vitamins and you should never get sick(unless you have diabetes or something). I was raised Catholic and studied Buddhism extensively and both don't support "vaccine science" and go with "natural immunity" everytime. I have family who got the vaccine and they were the ones who got Covid MULTIPLE times. Weird right?
