Politicians primarily view the pandemic as an opportunity to make progress shaping the country into something that better matches their vision. In their view, mitigating the effect of the pandemic is a secondary concern (and could possibly even be counterproductive if they mitigate it too much).

Every society will do this if you convince the public there is a health disaster.

That is how the Gernans did this to the Jews, how the Soviets did this to the land owners, the Japanese were locked up here before for the good of the public, and where the Mexicans were gonna go if Trump hadn't failed his platform so much, he was already framing this by insisting they were all criminals, similar to Reagan's welfare queen story that gets Republicans as rock hard as a dead fetus poster in front of a women's clinic. The only reason to make a while category if people illegal is to put them in camps. This is out of the authoritarian playbook.

You don't have to worry about this one though. The Boomers won't lock up other white boomers. The only people getting arrested for not social distancing and not quarantining, at least here, are the blacks.

It's f**** up not only is the Corona virus affecting people of color much more but people color getting arrested much more often for not respecting boundaries of Corona virus. Meanwhile home depot is packed with bored middle aged white people doing wtf they want.




There are easier ways to say "this can't happen to me".

People always say that until it does.

Everyone needs to be safe because people that look like everybody have died to this. Young nurses doctors and social workers who take care of themselves are dying to this. Me and my colleagues exercise we diet well and we engage in effective self care and we can all die from this.

Even people like you who go to gay church 7 days a week are affected by this.

1) Whites are roaming wild but are not affected by COVID-19 so much
2) Blacks are forced to quarantine but effected much more by COVID-19
