Well, from what I understand... the murder hornet is indigenous to the Asian theater anyways. Where it HAS natural enemies. Just seems kind of fishy to me.
Covid-19 hits the US in Washington state... first, and 2-3 months later the murder hornet hit the same area.

Both covid-19 and the hornet, come form the Far East. So I think this meme that I made... hits pretty close to the mark...

Well, I realize this. The stink bug came to the US northeast, about 5-6 years ago, but they weren't really a "major" issue.

This however is a LARGE hornet, 2 inches plus. And it just happened to come 2-3 months after covid-19 hit the US. Both of which came not long after the US and China started a trade war. A trade war which China was... losing.

What has the murder hornet done to the ecology of Asia?

Not much. But, the murder hornet has natural enemies in Asia. As far as I can find, it has NO natural enemies in the US.
