what do you mean by 'most americans'? pretty sure the president (and that means at least 25-30 % of all americans, who support literally everything he says or does) is rather fond of those "very good people".

If you showed a picture of those people and asked if what they did was appropriate, the vast majority of Americans would say no. We've got plenty of loons here, but going into a state house dressed like mercenaries is definitely on the extremist end. I think most Trump supporters would agree.

you know you're not obligated to use the same term if you disagree. you regularly make use of that novel concept. so trying to backpedal now by suggesting you used it because you had to, is pretty dishonest.

speaking of which, i know that science and reality denial is a requirement for libertarians, but michigan only has a population of 10 million - so i very much doubt those morons have 30 million unemployed neighbours. and again, "most" of them would rather be unemployed than dead (maybe look at some polls on the issue before uncritically accepting the idiotic talking points of authoritarians and their 'proteSSters').

Lol! I'm "backpedalling" because I responded to your specific word, with the word.

Nationwide, stupid. Those 10 million people of Michigan have their SHARE of the 30 million out of work Americans. Sorry if that was too hard for your simple mind to wrap itself around.

Armed militias have no business wielding their guns in front of elected lawmakers' faces, period. Why the hell were they even let in?

At the end of the day, political movements are always about achieving a concrete policy. Protesters want governments to change the rules/the course of the country, so them arming themselves automatically comes with an implicit threat: do our bidding, or else...

This is fundamentally different from people defending themselves against imminent violence.
And no, a government implementing policies and rules that you personally dont like or agree with is not an imminent threat under any but the most extreme circumstances - it's a basic part of living in a democracy.

In any case, these loons definitely dont match the requirement stated in the 2nd amendment: "A well regulated militia..."

Honestly surprised you posted this ultimate blue pilled bootlicker nonsense after being here so long.

Read the entire second amendment.
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

'Well regulated militia' isn't a requirement for the right to bear arms.
Thats a level 1 MSNBC bubble leftist soccer mom talking point, not a real thing.

Government should be under threat when it acts tyrannically.

They are right to protest and they are right to be armed. Its a defense against the government continuing to push them around.

Those protesters have turned more people against the R wing. Conservatives should go back to crying about pussy hats. At least people could relate to the complaint
