are you at least being paid by the school? most school workers here still are getting paid, even janitorial and kitchen staff.
Here in Minnesota, the shutdown is by the governor's order. Public accommodations and all that. My regular tobacco shop refused to comply initially and was open after the shutdown commenced, and they were only allowing 3 people into the store at a time (you know, trying to be responsible). Sheriff shut them down. So instead of some customers going to a place that wants to stay open, more of them have to utilize fewer vendors to get the same products, because those vendors have other products to sell. So more people are congregating in fewer places. Sounds fairly antithetical to what they're trying to do here.
Yes, I am being paid a percentage of my wages. It's not like tax remittances from banks for escrows have dried up. Though I'm sure they're strained now.
