I'm glad there was video of this incident which showed what really happened. The video evidence sealed the deal on a case that should have never gone to trial. I hope people won't dwell on this case which is clear cut self defense with no racial undertones and choose to focus on the Amaud Arbery case.

TL:DR Version is Dad/Son think black guy running in the street is a burglar. They chase him in a pickup attempting to make a "citizens arrest" or something of this sort. Arbery attempts to evade them and they eventually cut him off. Son jumps out of the truck with a shotgun and they fight, Abery grabs the gun barrel and gets shot/killed. Then the local law enforcement, prosecutor, and judge refuse to bring charges. Eventually it makes its way to the state level and makes national news and charges are finally brought.
