They seem to have a sixth sense about them. I've never met a dog I didn't like, even aggressive dogs can be reasoned with once you build some trust. Outside of immediate family my strongest bonds have always been with my dogs. When my greyhound went in 2018 I've never felt such devastation--basically wept myself to sleep for almost two years--some people just don't understand that. I'm a 100% unabashed cultural imperialist when it comes to something like this.
