Naw, Kaepernick is just an asshole. In Michigan they were protesting at/in the Michigan capitol building... NOT on everyone's damn TV set like Kaepernick.

Yeah he did. What he "should" have done is to stand with his hand over his heart. Ya know, like the people who watch and who pay him, expected him to do.

Your rant aside, you'll notice that the American people, in effect, voted him out of the job of football player, for his disrespect of the National Anthem.
It's not about "why" he took a knee. It's about "when" he took a knee.

that's just more bullshit, not based on facts:

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/poll-majority-of-americans-disagree-with-colin-kaepernicks-protest/

Quote
Although many respondents disagree with Kaepernick's stance, 64 percent of all the people who were surveyed agreed that Kaepernick has a constitutional right to protest and shouldn't be punished by the NFL.

lol, learn to read: the headline doesn't even support my point, you idiot. i specifically quoted the relevant part (which is from the middle of the article): 64%, almost two thirds, replied the NBA should NOT punish him - so you suggesting he was "voted out by the american people" is simply...

You didn't "quote" anything from the article.

/e Here I'll help you...

In one poll, which was conducted by Reuters, 72 percent of Americans said that they thought Kaepernick's behavior was unpatriotic. Another 61 percent said that they do not "support the stance Colin Kaepernick is taking and his decision not to stand during the national anthem."
