Overgeneralization continually tries to paint all men as monsters, whenscience has shown us that there are many psychological and biological factors that come into play to create someone with the potential to commit violence.

I think this is the key part, the people who are trying to make it look like there is a rape epidemic are the same people who charge a man for rape because he had sex with a drunk girl. When in reality, if having sex while drunk was rape, then basically every single adult, male and female, has been both raped and raped someone in their lifetime.
