I have no desire to die on the hill for Hunter.. But if you are this mad at this.. How is Kushner part of the WH.. and now leading the coronavirus task force.. I guess he as qualified as his father in law.
But holy hell if you are mad at Biden you should be having a stroke over Jared and Ivanka.
You call double standard, as you stand on one.

lol you think i like Trump or Kushner?

i detest both of those rats.

but if dems were willing to sacrifice Hunter and just admit that its fishy they could seem less biased in criticizing trump. if u are against Kushner and not willing to admit the Hunter situation is fishy as hell its just boring whataboutism.

but please, tell me more about who i support. should be entertaining.

worth investigating with federal tax dollars? perhaps not, but for upper level govt employees like Potus, Vpotus, speakers, SCOTUS judges, etc. it does factor in how high up they are given the level of changes they can make.

worth investigating with the media and beating these fuckers to a pulp like a dead horse until they realize its not a great idea when they can just give their fuckup kids a few million and a guest house? absolutely, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hunter, Joe, and everyone else involved should be put under a media spotlight even if it never leads to charges.

I don't see you listing Jared/Ivanka in your list here>?
Even this AM talking about Biden I stated if he broke the law put his ass in jail.. I could care less.
Where is that sentiment for the clearly pay to play of trump family crime ring. Or do you believe they are legitimate political players?
or was it accidentally left of your "shady" players list?

Directly hiring somebody in your family to your cabinet and putting them in charge of things they have no expertise in is an order of magnitude more fishy than a foreign company hiring a politicians kid to their board.

One is blatant nepotism at the direct expense of the country, the other is maybe a shady business deal. The latter could be a big deal, but without more evidence it's not worth more than a few stories, whereas the former is deserving of harping on 24/7.

I think im likely a bit more critical of Hunter and would be happy to see him and/or Joe punished or even investigated a bit more than you, but yes. almost entirely. i still dont want a Benghazi or Mueller report done on it tho like trump cultists.

So then me not being willing to admit its super fishy isnt whataboutism, its an accurate assessment of the relative severity if the situation.

no. if someone says "hunter biden" and your response is "uh uh uh uh what about Kushner" that's whataboutism. even if you are correct they're worse. you have to argue the topic at hand on it's merit, not present hypocrisy to deflect from an actual issue. that's what whataboutism is, not just equivalent deflections, all deflections.

When the discussion is about selective outrage then the comparison between Kushner and Hunter Biden is relavent. It's relevant to point out that Hunter Biden is not an actual scandal whereas Kushner is. I.E. the right is employing selective outrage to be angry at Biden but not Kushner, but the reverse isn't true because one of these things is an actual instance of blatant wrongdoing, and the other is, even if we allow all reasonable assumptions, merely questionable.

i'd argue that whataboutism is so rampant these days that comparison along party lines discussions are all we have. a real shame to those that want to discuss the merits of accusations in a vaccuum, rather than partisan bickering that changes zero minds.

the threads on "what did Hunter/Joe do exactly" turned into "but your guy employs his unqualified son in law so we cant discuss in good faith" in a fucking flash. as every thread these days does.
