I found out about them about two weeks ago. They basically think there are person(s) in the Trump administration that are covertly informing the public of a counter-deep state movement. They believe Mueller isn't actually investigating Russian interference and the Trump Campaign but rather Obama, Clinton, Podesta, Lynch etc. All of these people will eventually be sent to prison, culminating in an event referred to as "the storm."
It all started on last October when a person identifying as "Q Clearance Patriot" made a post on 4chan. Since that time, other anonymous poster(s) have made vague claims/left "breadcrumbs" that the movement's supporters believe have correlated with some of Trump's rhetoric (e.g. "the calm before the storm") and actions, leading the supporters to believe Trump is subtly validating their support.
Many of their posts on places like /r/GreatAwakening revolve around the Trump administration seemingly acknowledging their movement. One poster talked about how Trump signed his MAGA hat with "wwg1wwa" on it and thanked him. Others show the Trump motorcade honking at them when they are holding up "QAnon" signs with instructions to honk.
America is an interesting place.
