Florida was allowed to start counting weeks in advance whereas the other States weren't. The other States weren't because Republican specifically passed laws saying they weren't allowed to

That explains why Florida is so fast to count its ballots, but it absolutely does not explain the vast variation in count time found between states like Texas, North Carolina, New York or Pennsylvania.

Because they have different levels of infrastructure dumbass

States control their own election procedures. There's absolutely no expectation they will be uniform

I think he was good faith until maybe 2020. He would occasionally amend his beliefs if I beat him over the head enough.

Now he can literally concede every point I make and still refuse to accept the logical conclusion, and then repeat the same arguments next week that I wholly debunked this week.

Sad to see another one go down the rabbit hole of just not caring about reality.

New York, a fully Democrat-controlled state, suffers from the same legal and infrastructure struggles which slow down ballot counting (and has been for many election cycles, this was not just a 2020 thing).
