This is exactly the same thing. I do not see why it's racist at all. It is the Chinese virus, just like Nike is an American brand or tequila is a popular Mexican drink. It's perfectly fine.

The Chinese government just hates it because it points the virus back at them and they get the blame. It makes them look bad (and rightfully so). China fucked this up. They must be held responsible for it.
