You can, and you should also have that conversation at home with your children.
If you insist that they should never should learn that, homeschool and private schools are still options.
This law relates to public schools only.
It's similar to when people wanted public schools to stop teaching everyone's children evolution because or their religion.

And I am sure that you don't want people to force their religious views on your children. And if that's the case, then maybe you also shouldn't force your sex talk on other people's children.

I never claimed it was. I do, however, think that society should be progressive, not regressive.
Less than a hundred years ago women couldn't vote.
If we applied this persons argument to that it would go: People survived millions of years without women voting, why should we let women vote?
