While im not against the idea of alien construction, i cant use lack of evidence how it was built to speculate that we couldnt build it. the float theory seems close enough to a workable theory to have me leaning against aliens.
Well... I'm not FOR the aliens idea, I'm just pointing out a possible if aliens, why pyramids, thought.
As for the water theory... I can buy them floating blocks from the quarries to the site.
I can't buy then "floating blocks up the side of the pyramids" idea though. That "tunnel filled with water" up the side of the pyramids... don't think so.
I could possibly buy into some kind of large lever or counterweight theory, possibly.
Like maybe building a very large tower of wood over the pyramid site, and then using a counterweight of say a lot of smaller portable things in a large sack of some kind, to lift the new block.
I think one of the biggest problems we have with figuring out how it was done, is the fact that our imagi9nations are limited by the current times.
We assume there is no life on other planets that cruises around investigating things.
We assume that time was a factor... (couldn't have done it THAT way... too many years).
We make assumptions we can't even identify as assumptions, currently.
I mean throughout history many have pointed out that we "assume" things when we shouldn't.
My belief is that we are probably still making assumptions about the construction of the pyramids, that we shouldn't be.
And that we will probably continue to do so for quite a while yet.
