There's a high likelihood that if Iran intended to inflict casualties, that they will have done so to great effect. The attack was in the middle of the night local time, so barracks would have been occupied.

Yea, I agree that this is a weak response from Iran and they want to deescalate. I don't think it makes sense to fire into foreign soil at this time.
