I am actually worried about another issue.
I am not sure how the Russo / UKRO war is going to turn out after he wins.
If he comes in to stop the kerfuffle and if it succeed , it means Putin is going to negotiate in a way whereby Ukraine is going to lose a significant amount of lands .
There will be a DMZ and cold peace. There will be huge grievance on Ukraine's part.
And for the first time in history we might be witnessing Terrorism by people of your colour. That is the scary part.
I know for sure he is going to increase tariffs on China and there will be a FX war. China might devalue it's currency to compete.
Running up to this election after FED announced a 0.50 BP and CNY suddenly shot up, we are seeing trends that CNY is currently dropping again.
This however might trigger a capital flight out to USA en masse which might be a good thing in a way. But it will only last for 1.5 to 2.5 years max before the Chinese can put an abrupt stop to it with regulations and measures.
@bold The war will go on because the West has invested way too much in Ukraine already. They can't abandon project Ukraine it's been too costly not to mention the loss of face / influence world wide.
And the Russians have said they won't be negotiating anyways after Ukraine's Kursk incursion and that all goals of the SMO must be accomplished.
