And indeed, doctors offer their services all the time. Hell, the Shriners operate 22 hospitals nationwide for children regardless of their ability to pay. Whole hospitals. Without taxation. Charity.

And yet we are still the only industrialized country where people can't get access to treatment because they can't pay.

Funny how private charity hasn't fixed that issue.

how about your very obvious fear of addressing the topic? like how do you explain your weird suggestion that social programs are somehow in conflict with the separation of church and state? you know that atheists pay taxes too, right?

how about addressing my point that you only ever get triggered by policies that would benefit workers and poor people, and never have the same kind of criticism for republican supply side economics and subsidies for the rich? just ignoring that and going "no you!1" won't make it go away, buddy.

the problem with that 'argument' (which is basically the same that is used to downplay any form of gun deaths by just comparing it to something with more casualties) is that those deaths / bankruptcies are completely preventable and unnecessary. just talking the number down obviously won't solve the underlying issue, as i'm sure you're well aware of.
