I saw it on Twitter this morning, and when I commented on it, was blocked immediately. Twitterers have such thin skin. They really are the snowflakes of the political debates world.

i think the issue with an age limit is that we're getting close to the point in medicine where traditional ideas of degeneration are done for. and as potus candidates these people have access to the best.

but if it wasnt an issue for Trump in 2016 when he was mumbling and slurring words, completely unlike his speaking 10 years before which was fluid and sharp, then i dont see an issue for bernie. sure he's 10 years older, but seems 10 years younger.

age is like #7 on the list of reasons i wouldnt vote for bernie. and that might be generous lol

What would your top reasons be ? Honestly just curious

#1 would be incompatibility with the legislature. basically an inability to actually draft any legislation regardless of my position on his policy.
#2 would be his healthcare plan. not compatible with much of middle america and moves way too fast, even though i like the general direction.
#3 would be his lackluster attitude on automation. his worker empowerment schtick will speed up automation and decrease our readiness by ignoring a glaring problem.
#4 would be his attitude towards climate change with respect to how he thinks legislation will fix the problem, which again he wont be able to pass anyways.
#5 would be his lack of experience with world politics. i dont fear him nuking someone, i fear more his inaction and unwillingness to fight the rare fights we need to.
#6 would be his pandering rhetoric on education, he rarely gives specifics only offers to toss money at it. when my wife (a teacher) hears his ilk suggest money with no specifics she rolls her eyes.
#7 would be age, mental faculties, and threat of dying in office.

that's off the cuff but i think fairly accurate.

all of the aspects? none.

most of them was Yang, although he also fails at #1. its just the despite his incompatibility with congress i liked his platform more. realistic healthcare plan, full on automation, realistic on climate change, bad at world stage politics, super informed and concise on education, young + azn.

of those left, none even resemble what i want out of a candidate. and all will get my vote rather than trump anyways. since even before yang left the race "my pick" = "who can beat trump", not "who supports what i like".
